Christ is Risen!
With the blessing of His Eminence, Metroplitan Demetrius, St. Xenia Camp is scheduled to operate Aug. 14-19, 2016. (Counselor training on Saturday, Aug. 13). Through the intercessions of St. Xenia of St. Petersburg, and through the efforts of many who have worked tirelessly to bring the camp to where it is today, St. Xenia Camp continues to be very successful in providing a unique and enjoyable experience that combines recreation, fellowship, and spiritual growth. We encourage all to consider volunteering to help our beloved camp. Quality counselors represent the backbone of the camp. We are perpetually recruiting young individuals for counselor positions who can be mentors and role models for our youth.
Please visit our website: saintxeniacamp.com and check periodically for new announcements. Registration will begin within days. We are celebrating our 20th year this year! Glory be to God! We are excited to have you join us in celebrating and participating in this unique and wonderful experience of spiritual invigoration, growth and fun!
If you cannot participate this year, you can help by donating to parishes of families who cannot afford to send their children to camp or directly through our website.

Could you give me your personal, realistic assessment of this dynamic and possibly refer me to an official statement on how GOC members should and do relate to and communicate with those in “World Orthodoxy”?
